This is my debut independent track release, crafted as the soundtrack for the Kinema Ikon video art film “Început de Coerență” (1981), featured at Europalia Biennale 2019-2020 in Brussels, Belgium.

In my artistic practice, I prioritize demonstrating the process of sound production rather than simply hitting “play” on a cassette player and letting it run. It’s crucial to deeply engage with the original sound by transforming and manipulating it, exploring textures, layering elements, and ultimately crafting new sonic compositions from these archived, “static” recordings—reinvigorating them into a dynamic, live context filled with vitality and emotion on stage. This approach breathes life into the music, reshaping it into an expressive and captivating experience for the audience.
